It's the second movie based on that book so . . .
I'm sure it will be good but it's not accurate to say it's original when it's been done before.

baby steps.
the point is Dune isn't a sure thing, being hard sci-fi. better than another YA novel adaptation or remake / reboot of a popular franchise.
Just because you are excited about something that does not change the definition of words, and fanboys have a terrible habit with that. Something original is not based upon an intellectual property
