I rewatched Tarzan today for the first in probably twenty years. I was a kid the last time I saw this film and I remember the death of Kerchak & Kala's baby stopped me cold the first time I watched it. I also recall it to be much worse than what was actually depicted. I could've sworn you saw the baby get corned with a running zoom in close up of it from Sabor's POV before cutting back to the parents racing through the jungle and stopping knowing they are too late to save their infant but that doesn't seem to the case. The Mandela Effect strikes again.
Although if you pause it at the right time, you basically see Sabor snatch the little breh up and jump off with him. How does the saying go?
