You can sign up for it independent of a cable/satellite company, just like you can with Netflix, don't have to go thru a middleman as far as I'm aware.

Nah I wasn't talkin bout Hulu +Live. I was talkin bout Hulu just as on-demand. You can get it without ads but this bundle is the low tier version with the ads
