This looks outdated. Like this is what another studio would have done if Prince of Persia had been successful in the early 2000s.
This need more visual flair to stand on its own like those colorful martial arts movies alike House of flying Daggers or Hero.
That Jasmine actress is gonna come out of this with a huge career boost though just cause she looks cool.

Jafar does not look evil enough. That's my only complaint.
This is going to be one of those movies where Will is the best thing about it while everything else is mediocre.
The actors playing Aladdin and Jasmine are unimpressive
The “Whole New World” rendition sounds bad
The effects look subpar
But Will’s genie looks genuinely fun. Ima take my Daughter and just hope for the best

I don’t have a problem with Jafar’s voice. If Jafar sounded like he does in the cartoon you’d ask him if he was him just because.
Hopefully they give him a bit more character without evil monologue to a bird.
