dexter is not an elite show and hasnt been since season 5, we're all watching because we wanna see how it ends just like everyone watched lost until the end despite the fact that it was trash

Back to dexter tho,I'm up to episode 4 of season 3 .. .. Should I skip this sh!t and go straight to season 4? or dos this season get better?

It's ironic he criticizes Gilligan as a writer directly after he wins a Writer's Guild Award for "Breaking Bad".

I could easily son dude by pointing out that half the show runners and/or writers of the shows he listed consider Vince Gilligan one of the greatest writers in TV.

I'll give him half a bar though.

Notice Benioff bowed down to The Wire. Most showrunners in Hollywood believe THE WIRE is the greatest TV series ever made. David Milch said THE WIRE is one of the greatest series. And is always giving David Simon props. Which is major considering DEADWOOD is top 3 of the greatest series ever.

Why? My favorite shows of all time are Lost, Dexter, and The Wire.

Mad Men came through and carried the torch when The Wire and Sopranos were going off the air. Only show that will be left where the writing is at a very high level is Boardwalk Empire. Still, it would be hard for Boardwalk Empire to replace any of the holy trinity with The Wire, Sopranos, and Mad Men.

I have no problems with any other show, but no show will rank higher than #4 , since the top 3 spots are taken.
