Dude ran towards the exploding stove. They even show a slow mo of him getting engulfed in flames and blown across the room with the whole cabin getting blown up...Doakes is deader than dead brah. There's no coming back from that unless the show goes all supernatural.
If he does come back it's either a Dexter hallucination like the one he had of Brian Moser last season or it's gonna be flash back sequences.
with these writers...anything is possible. Wouldnt be surprised if they had literally just one line of throw away dialogue from a character to explain bringing doakes back.
