nah hes still a killer

the episode was about him dropping the code and realizing he could kill who he wants(Hannas father) and not just who fits the code(Arsonist)

the producer explained this in that lil showrunners thing that comes on after the episode plus if you saw the preview for next week then you know its no way the bold is true

i think Quinn could possibly get locked up & look to snitch his way out. Dude knows about Dexter, but doesn't really care

Dex when then have to watch out for Matthews, LAguerta, & Quinn.

Nyggas saying he killed him over money :smh:
Do y'all even pay attention
She had the money
Dexter knew he would continue to try and blackmail her even if they paid
So he killed him

But, him killing Hannah's dad changed the tone of the show for me, I always looked at Dexter as a crime fighter/vigilante. The major theme of the show was can Dexter have self control and not get caught. It was never about reaching a higher level of enlightenment.

Now, he is starting to look like a detached, crazed killer, especially since he realized he is crazy and Harry was just a coping mechanism. If he kills LaGuerta or Matthews, its over, Dexter will have to go down. So, he can end up like Vic Mackey, and look like a monster by the end of the show.

Dude has always been detached and crazed and he's always sought higher levels of enlightenment. He's always sought understanding and asked thought provoking questions about life and people and why he is how he is. Now that the code is out of the way and he has accepted the fact that he's a killer and has made a non-code, non-survival kill it's gonna be interesting to see if he wilds out.

Quinn doesnt know shyt..the investigator cat got killed during the Lumen season in that van

He doesn't know he is the BHB, but he does know Dex is willing to kill & get his hands dirty. Quinn was trying to get dirt on Dexter (because Dex saw him take that money), hires Liddy, & decides to back off because he was messing with Deb. Liddy proceeds to get murdered & Quinn is suddenly clear for bloodwork? Dexter got him out of trouble, they made a silent agreement to drop it & move on. He knows for sure Dexter took care of Liddy, but is like "whatever" since he was responsible for it.

I'll repeat myself, "detached+crazed+killer". Not sure why you even responded, since we pretty much are say the same thing.

somebody need to tell Deb to  somewhere, she is too obsessed with catching Hannah, dont she know Dexter is going to lose it if something happens to her.

You know they had to put them at odds. He likes fukking Hannah and he chose to protect her over Deb wanting her to pay. Simple formula really.

This LaGuerta/Mathews "investigation" might actually be the series low point.

You mean Dexter watched his mom get chopped up? Just like the Bay Harbor Butcher chops up his victims? :ohhh:

And :dead: @ them apparently never investigating the cabin where a police sergeant was killed

Actually...the Quinn storyline might be worse :heh:
