Just finished episode 5. I honestly think I’ve watched too many well written shows to accept what I’m seeing. Someone mentioned that suspension of disbelief is a part of what this show forces…that is absolutely the truth. Too many convenient and ridiculous things happened this episode. A “Kill List Party”??? Batista name dropping Harrison for no reason? Batista even being there! This dude was one of the worst detectives ever, and he’s the one giving the talk?? How the hell did Dexter clean up his kill room…which ridiculously is in the drug dealers home…so quickly, OD/kill the guy, stage the body and get out so without a sound while the police was outside?? There were other things that just had me shaking my head, as well. Still not as bad as seasons 6, 7, and 8, but damn.
I get the feeling the podcast chick knows who Dexter is, and is really there for him. Caldwell’s victims have all been women, so I can’t see him doing the same to Harrison. Perhaps he’s going to try to groom him? Ultimately, I think Dexter kills podcast chick and gets killed himself in the finale…maybe by Caldwell and Harrison.
