naw, don't say that shyt for no self validation, that aint me...yall havent seen me brag about shyt i do in this game....I stated it in advance cause I've had these convos with people on bungie boards.....and normally, the next question people ask when you say something about the sunbreaker not being op is 'why you say that/what have you done against it?'....then their answer is normally what you did: brush it off cause it doesn't go with their opinion....

is the game balanced? to me, yes....every character/subclass has it's pros/cons and can be bested by other characters/subclasses....to me, there is no 1 dominant subclass in the game, there is nothing broken to give you an advantage like blink use to...just cause people like to use something doesn't make it op....mp communities are mostly sheepish and they tend to go with whatever is said to be the 'best' in the game....the same way they using sunbreakers now, they used blade dancers, void walkers, and strikers....prime ex: go back near the beginning of this thread and look at how people's opinions changed on blade dancers...just cause the majority used them, they were considered this unbeatable, op subclass that everyone was scared of....after people realized they could die like other subclasses if you used your head, people shut up about them....that's the shyt going on now....sunbreakers are just the flavor of the month and people are up in arms about them....next will be storm callers....does that make them op too?....if so, why aren't they considered op now? nothing is changing about them...the only thing that will change is the sheepish community's opinion....which we've seen before...another prime ex: the hawkmoon...

seriously, you say it's the strongest super, but it can be defeated by a nova bomb, gg, shadow shot, and fist of havoc....and you can wipe teams out with trance, blade dancer, and other supers just like hammer....

I've compared it to blade dancer too cause it's a timed super and not a pre-determined super....by that I mean, whether or not the use of the super is determined by the number of usages(FoH, nova bomb, gg) or a timer(HoS, bd, trance)...

i'm not trying to prove nothing...just stating my opinion as to why I don't think sunbreaker is op....

but since you wanna use facts, ok....going by bungie's data they posted/showed for the last 90 days:

- in pvp, if you look at the usage of the subclasses, all the new subclasses have been the main ones used since ttk release...not a surprise, but before that, there was somewhat balance...which means nothing was op, like yall claim....in fact, towards the end of the 90 days, people are starting to go back to using other subclasses for all characters, including titans....if the sunbreaker was so op, that wouldn't be the case, would it?....

- in pvp, the hammer has the highest k/d outta the titan subclasses...no shyt, especially figuring one of the subclasses is a support class (defender).....anyway, compared to the other subclasses of characters, the k/d of sunbreakers (1.06) is right in range with them (.91 - 1.06(and no, that 1.06 isn't the hammer's k/d, bungie stated this is the range for the other subclasses not including titans)).....since that's in range and not blowing them out the water, that doesn't seem op to me, like yall be screaming.....

- in pvp, 19% of the kills for sunbreakers comes from hammer, while 14% of kills for other subclasses comes from supers....that doesn't make sunbreakers look op either....in fact, it makes them look weak and like all they have going for them is the hammer....makes it seem like that people that play sunbreaker just wait for hammer to get kills....

...those are facts stated by bungie...and look at that, they seem to go along with my opinion, that i've based off playing the game, that sunbreaker is just flavor of the month and all this 'it's op' talk is much ado about nothing....it's just the community bytching/complaining like they do cause they getting killed.....but i know, you gonna say those facts, even though they are stated by bungie, don't mean nothing, and gonna post some smiley...that's cool...

also, after stating facts, i'll ask you these questions again that you didn't answer: when the community starts screaming (insert whatever non titan subclass) is op cause majority of people start using it, if nothing was changed about that subclass, is it really op?...and if so, why isn't it considered op now?.....once you answer those, you'll realize a lot of the op talk is bullshyt....

actually, i didn't complain about the horn nerf, you have me confused with someone else....when the notes dropped about the nerfs to gally, i laughed, stated how it wasn't really a nerf, and that gally would still be the most powerful dps gun in the game (at the time)....that the 'nerfs' were just to get people to use other heavy weapons....

in fact, I've never claimed anything in this game was op, cause to me nothing is....everything in this game has pros/cons....everything can be bested/countered by something else.....can some shyt get the job done better than other shyt? sure....but all things in the game can get the job done, and that's all i ask for in a game....which is what my posts have said in this thread...

also, nightstalker k/d is directly attributed to its survivability - while the sunbreaker's comes directly from offensive output but whatever. shyt, no other super in the game has ever encouraged an entire opposing team to turn around in the other direction like hammers. shyt, if people still believed that they could outplay the super like anything else then it'd be just as high as the first month of ttk
