smh now its reset
Good thing you know how to get to Oryx now.

I passed on running the Raid with people who asked me to join them earlier in the day, because I was trying to run it with people on my list. I could have ran it earlier, but told em, nah. Go hit up the gym, come back later on and nobody's online who was trying to do it. My bro got on, I text my boy to get on and he's caked up :smh:

:francis:

I know you said you work in the PM, which sucks cause everybody else is getting off and getting online when you heading out.

I ended up just completing the shyt for my exotic Arc Sword while I waited for people to get on. Luckily, one of the guys on my list was on with a party of 3 and I had 3 and I was able to get 2 runs in from Oryx and then another from Golgoroth done around 2AM :snoop:

Lesson to those trying to complete Raids... GET IN WHERE YOU FIT IN

If you got a group trying to run, even if you have to start from a checkpoint that you already have done, just join em.. cause the odds of you getting the same 6 to go throughout a raid in a week are slim to none. shyt is just not gonna happen. If you don't get the shyt done in 1 run, people are going to go their separate ways and hop on any Raid team that's trying to do it. Trust me

It's best to just do it over. Every time you do a fresh run through it, you get loot drops. You can get 310 drops and then you won't be tripping over not completing it last week. The way the Raids are set up are purposely developed for you to keep playing them. You get gear to increase your light level, and even if you get stuff that you already have, you can infuse it into your favorite gear and bump that stuff up.

I got my Black Spindle up to 305 because I got 3 Raid Shotties that I didn't need. You also can get Exotic Engrams from popping 3 of Coins before dropping bosses

As players grind away in Destiny: The Taken King to get their light up to 310 in preparation for the upcoming Heroic Kingโ€™s Fall raid, Bungie has sneaked in a few things into the armory over on their website. It would appear that quite a few pieces of armor and weapons are getting yet another Year 2 upgrade, and some Year 1 gear that was left out in the cold with the launch of The Taken King is coming along for the ride as well.

In order to push Light Levels (and by effect, your guardianโ€™s power) to the limit, some exotic armor and weapons look to be receiving a healthy bump up to 330 Armor/Attack. Thatโ€™s an increase of 20 over the current max meaning players will be able to go quite a bit over the current cap of 310 Light Level.

Based on this update to the website, all exotic armor look to be getting the bump up to this new light level (not including class items). So no more having to do without your favorite exotic gear as you dive into the new challenges soon to be released. While the changes have yet to be officially announced, the widespread stat updates in the official armory are a strong sign of changes to come.

On the weapon side of things, Destiny: The Taken King wonโ€™t be as generous. Not all weapons are created equal, and that includes some of the brand new Year 2 exotics as well. The weapons getting the bump to 330 Attack based on the armory are:

Monte Carlo
SUROS Regime
Zhalo Supercell
Hawkmoon
The Last Word
Bad Juju
Red Death
Telesto
Invective
The 4th Horseman
Hereafter
Thunderlord
Truth
Jade Rabbit
Unfortunately Black Spindle (just recently nerfed), Touch of Malice, and Sleeper Simulant seem to not be part of the upcoming upgrades. Raid gear is also completely absent from the armory, but it wouldnโ€™t be surprising to see them reach the Destiny: The Taken Kingโ€™s new light limit.

There are also some new perks thrown into the mix to make things interesting. Khepriโ€™s Sting will add lingering damage to melee attacks while the ATS/8 ARACHNID (another Hunter exotic) increases the time you have with your Golden Gun. Titans will not be able to make tighter turns while running with the MK. 44 Stand Asides, while Warlocks receive some much needed agility through the Heart of the Praxic Fire.

When full details of the listed upgrades will be available is unknown at the moment, but the armory update is certain to pique the interest.

Are you excited for the inclusion of even more Exotic Armor choices in Destiny: The Taken King? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
