I come from games that required you to put time into getting the rarest items. I honestly felt the quest was a little to short and easy but in a way I don't because the sleeper really isn't that special. Now if it was the galahorn or how ever it's spelled I would want the quest to be long and hard, all weapons in that tier should be hard earned and everyone shouldn't have it.

Farmed the The Nexus Strike for four hours yesterday. Around 6-10 mins depending on teammates to complete did 20 strikes.

I got 5 exotic engrams to drop:
310 Light Beyond Nemesis (equipped to my warlock)
310 VoidFang Vestments (infused into my raid chest piece turning that into 310)
2x 310 Hereafters(infused into my Black Spindle so it can be 310)
310 Telesto(infused into my Patch A Shotgun so it can be 307)

1:4 ratio far as drop rates go, which is pretty good.

I got 20 more left I'm hoping for primary weapon engrams and gauntlet engrams to drop then I be good for Iron Banner and Trials
well damn can a nikka get in on this piff... ?

here you go with the elitist thinking....exactly what do you mean by 'earned'?....and who are you to determine what people can have in the game?...if someone plays the game, they are earning everything they use in it, no matter if they buy it from xur, do a quest you dont think is hard enough, etc...

as for the sleeper: the only reason the quest felt short is cause everyone knew the knight codes cause people spread the answers on the net....if that didnt happen, people would still be trying to figure out that 1st code.....also, lol at it not being special....that shyt is a boss killer, even more so than gally....

Yup... you go and kill the ghost servitor, pull out the sleepers and unload... kill the other ghost servitor, pull out sleepers and unload... then we had the countdown bullshyt where you had to play hot potato with each other... only thing is that we killed him before we had to pass it... then we sat there and waited for the dismantle mines to pop up and boom it was done...

Black Spindle is mine next time we try to get it...

Also need to find the 4 calcified fragments I'm missing to get touch of malice

That's like me saying who are you to say the quest was right to be that short, we two different type of gamers. It is a matter of opinion breh I enjoy long quest just because the code was figured out before it should have been doesn't mean much in terms of quest length when you could have added a strike or two more or give us a story around this weapon like the sword. It is a fact the weapon isn't that special and boss killer Do you play the game son? Black Spindle does more damage. And that's not elitist thinking, I in no sharpe or form consider myself a top tier destiny gamer, I just like to work for the better tier gear on games I feel like the exotic sword was a perfect example of questing for a weapon.

i'd say i'm a gamer that's for the gamers, that's who i am...i dont think shyt should just be given to us, but it also doesnt need to be ridiculously hard to where only a few can get it, especially when we already have rng into play...you want people to keep playing, and the best way to do that is make the better shyt obtainable without having to make the game a job...

i never said the quest was right to be that short...in fact, i've never given my opinion on the quest....here it goes: when factoring in all you had to do - collecting the randomly dropped pieces, figuring out the codes, beating the one mission in a certain amount of time, having to wait for a warsat public event, and doing the strike at the end; i think the quest length was just right...it's not short nor long to me.....the only reason it seems shorter is cause the info about the codes and the timed mission (just kill the wizards at the end) was out there for everyone...if people had to figure that shyt out for themselves, that shyt wouldve taken a lot longer...hell, people would probably still be stuck on the code part....

no story? that's not true....we've gotten just as much story about the ss as we have about the swords...in fact, we've gotten more cause the story about the ss is incomplete...even the gun says so...

do i play the game? lol....anyway, it's not a fact it's not special, that's your opinion....which happens to differ from mine and others who think it is special cause of the damage it does...the thing melts bosses....and easily does more damage than majority of weapons in the game, including the spindle and a prime gally (gally is better at mobs)....also, the fact the gun isnt in it's completed form makes it even more scary cause of the potential it might be able to do....

yea, we disagree about how the quests go cause i dont like the sword quest....to me, it felt like they added shyt to it just for the hell of it, i.e. the crucible part and waiting till arms day....to me, the crucible part wasnt needed at all, especially when you figure everything else you do for the sword is done in pve...and waiting till arms day reset? i get they want you to come back to the game, but that's gonna happen anyway, no need to keep weapons from us to do that...

I respect how you feel, I see your side of it also. But for me when work like the sword quest is given it makes it feel even better when you get it cause many players give up:yeshrug: and the reason I said I like quest like this for weapons is because they remove the rng factor.

man i need that spindle if you're on ps4 let me kno next time...i got sleepers for all my characters :blessed:

got my Sleeper. Best part about it is it put me over the edge to rank 5 so after the Jays game I'm gonna try and get this First Curse quest started
