Why can't I buy digitally? I'm only buying so I can play the game with my son.
When I go to buy the taken king "add-on" it says I can't because I haven't purchased the $34.99 expansion pass. If I buy the expansion pass, how much will the "add-on" be? It doesn't show the price in the PS store.

never mind, I just went to the store again and it lets me buy the legendary edition digitally.
If you buy the expansion pass for $34.99 it'll be another $40 for the taken king. That's why they're telling you to buy the $60 joint since it comes with the original, 2 dlc, and the taken king.

First time I tried it said I couldn't because I already purchased Destiny, then I tried again and let me add to cart but when I went to check out it said again that I cannot purchase because I already purchased Destiny.
I'll try to figure it out, if I can't buy digital for $60 then I'll just say fukk it.
Breh the physical disc is just a code with the two dlc and expansions. Cheaper and you can trade back the disc in.

You already own Destiny digitally right? The physical disc is just a way to get it cheaper. It'll still be tied to your account. I don't see how buying it through the psn store is advantageous.

If you want to play with your son grab that Legendary Edition.

You're basically buying a code for the taken King and the dlcs.
The disc is not even needed since I take it that you're sharing vanilla destiny digitally. The taken king legendary edition is just regular destiny with the two codes.
