I'm sure they'll find some way to convert us to the appropriate experience to whatever level we already are
Edit: And even if we go back to 20, it's not really a big deal considering we won't have to do anything special to get up to 40 like we've had to do previously. Just keep running bounties and strikes which is shyt we would be doing regardless
I think you're in for a surprise. It's going to be a traditional leveling system, so I'm guessing that in order to hit level 40 you're going to have to put in a lot of time in order to do so.

My guess is characters with both Year 1 sub-classes maxed will start TKK at level 34. They've already let the word out that new characters that aren't Light 34 by release will get an XP boost to get to 34.

Should have been a legendary with arc damage in the first place.no we arent....besides having fun, the point of the game is to continue to level up, getting new gear and weapons, to reach the max set for that time period.....if you did that in year 1, how can you be upset cause you gonna have to do it again for year 2?...that's how these type of games work....cats that were expecting to use the same weapons from year 1 in year 10 are tripping....as much as i rock with the VOC or FB, i know eventually i'm have to use something else, and i cant wait....if i'm gonna continue to play this game, i want better shyt as it goes on....fate of all fools, here i come....
Also, hold off on getting rid of shyt cause of this partial new info....on the bungie forums, a cat from bungie said all the info isnt out there yet and people should hold off before doing something like that....something they were talking about doing on those boards like dummies.....
To go along with that: right now, we can upgrade our weapons to 365...which means them shyts will be good till we reach enemies that are level 38+.....even then, if our levels are equal to that of the enemies, these weapons can still do work, just not as much as weapons with a higher damage level....the new weapons patch is even a hint at that...seriously, why would they nerf the black hammer or gally if those weapons would be obsolete in pve going forward?....they not gonna be....people just need to chill....
...all this outrage to me just sounds like people really thought they were gonna be able to use the same shyt for 10 years a game, which was unrealistic.....

If I buy the most recent expansion, does it include everything that preceded it?
At buying this at full price. Knowing Bungie these MFers going to have this shyt at pennies on the money around Black Friday. fukk Bungie for giving vanilla Destiny plus season pass for 20 bucks when I paid a 100 for this bullshyt. fukk Bungie for throwing all year 1 content and weapons to the bushes in order to make us grind some more and make it easier on new nikkas. These MFers got it now where it's all XP and you can be max level with uncommon gear. When the next DLC came out for 20 bucks and they doing a special where you get the expansion for free with the purchase of the DLC I'm hopping on that.
