You're going to have to do the Daily Story Missions for those. The Vault of Glass also helps, or you can get a lot of Marks for Crucible/Vanguard to buy Legendary Gear and then break it down for Shards. That's probably the easiest way to do it, but it takes time to get the Marks... and they increased how much gear costs so you can't get as much as you used to be able to.

Good looking out breh, we'll I'm still 1.5K away from rank 2 vanguard and as soon as I hit it I'mma buy the boots and gloves then from there I guess I can start breaking shxt down
