This was the method i used to solo that part of the thorn bounty. I just stayed in the second room and killed them as they came to the door. Do not stay too long in the first room by the entrance to Phogoth, or a shrieker will spawn right above you. Sometimes you have to run out into the summoning pitts if the enemies stop coming to the door. You will need Solar and Arc damage weapons. I uploaded this video of how i did it

You know I was actually using that method yesterday and made it to the second wave, but I got the dreaded "zebra" connection code and at that point I wasn't rerunning that so I called it a night.

I beat it with my brother so it was only 2 of us. For the last part, when shyt got real, I told him to run back in that room that you posted above. I died on the outside, but when I respawned I was already out behind Xyor (he was looking in that room) I just picked him off with my sniper while all the attention was on my bro in that room.

Me and another breh (don't know his name on here) did this method for the nightfall. We beat the heroic by chilling on the rock on the far left corner

doesn't hurt to have the ice breaker sniper or invective to regenerate half your special weapon ammo for free either

its difficult but its not that bad when you can basically back out into the hallways during the beginning and end parts of the strike

took us a few tries cuz the wizards kept fukkin shyt up but the last try was pretty much a breeze. you can sprint past a few of the enemies too. ain't gotta waste time and ammo killing everything you see

just get a good arc sniper and some ammo synthesis if you don't have ice breaker or invective

the ice breaker aka boss killer is that shyt in pve....
