he said exactly what I've been saying about the banner: skill matters more than anything and high level shyt doesn't equal a win....the majority of people complaining about the banner figured just cause they were high levels and/or had good shyt, they would automatically win, and that aint the case....all having the high level shyt does is stack the deck in your favor, you still have to be able to play...which is what he said...that's what I expected and what I got....

also, if it was a free for all like some wanted, that shyt would be a ghost town cause the player pool would be smaller...the ones complaining and quitting now, would still be complaining and quitting then...only difference would be they'd losing to high levels....

...to me, only thing they need to work on is what to do about quitters and how it affects the game....he hinted at that, so that's a good thing...

well in the article he said you earn rewards, points, and rep even if you lose... so i don't see why people quit anyway... maybe they don't know that

you can spoiler tag it... but from what i'm reading the raid has no guidance, and they don't even tell you what you have to do to beat it

how hard was it to figure out the actual mission?

I just started teaching this year, so I can't do the late shift like back in the day...but maybe some 7-8PM weeknight thing would be nice.

Nah it's void damage, not kills. I thought so too when I had that bounty. My main weapon at that time was a void damage fusion rifle anyways, so it wasn't that hard to complete.

people know, but the thing is you earn crucible/faction rep, not banner rep, that's why people quit....you only earn iron banner rep if you win...so if people see their team losing early and feel they not coming back, they leave....which is bullshyt...there needs to be some type of punishment for the quitters; and for the players that stick it out, they should get something...maybe some banner rep, like 10 points.....

to the cats that hit me up wanting me to do the raid with them: i apologize....i'm down to be a raider, but at the time yall hit me up, i had just beat the shyt like the day before, and didnt feel like doing that shyt right then again to get nothing....anyway, in the future, that wont be a problem...i'm currently working on a character for the other 2 classes, so i'll be down to do the raid 6 times a week (2 times with each character, on normal and hard)...

Breh, a group that I beat this with yesterday was so disappointed in the rewards we got.



I only joined them on the last part after this dude on my list begged me to. I got a Legendary Scout Rifle, and a ship. I thought you were guaranteed to get Raid Gear but I'm assuming I didn't get that because I didn't bear the whole thing...

I also thought you were guaranteed to get the Vex Mythoclast for beating it on HARD. I would be pissed if they didn't give me that after beating it on hard

A couple of Caucasian gentlemen sent me an invite to the raid and they were already at the big robot dude. They needed a warlock because with 3 warlocks we can spam out supers at him in a way that knocks him off the platform. It took like an hour and a half or two mainly because the three he teleports kept dying or we wouldn't have him in a good spot. Once we did get it him in a good spot it was easy, we just threw the void grenades to "guide" him and hit with with supers until he fell off. This was my first time beating the raid and I got the hard trophy for it

The dude who originally got them to that part came in the chat at the end like "hold up all those hours to get to "affian"(sp?) and you beat him with a random "
