To be fair they do have a problem laughing at those jokes. That’s the problem. Their view of humor is that making fun of any marginalized group is wrong. I get not denigrating groups with jokes, being a dikk etc. But the jokes they got were light work compared to the fat, skinny, black, Mexican etc jokes over the last 30 years.

I enjoy listening to and watching Dave Chappelle, so I enjoyed this. I laughed through most if not all of it. He's a master at being on stage and talking to a crowd of people. If he dropped another one tomorrow I'd watch it immediately. He's the GOAT and my personal GOAT.
But I don't think any of the jokes in this were particularly great. I don't mind when he's poignant, I don't mind when he's acting a fool and just being goofy. I just feel like he's not threading those two things as often as he used to and as often as he's capable of, so sometimes a bit starts and you think it's gonna land at a point and instead it just ends with a goofy punchline and he's on the the next. I laugh but I don't feel satisfied, if that makes sense.
I don't even know what I'm trying to say. Maybe when I figure that out I'll come back and post again, but I probably won't because ultimately my opinion doesn't matter lol.

He's past the point of lol comedy and has entered the elite level. The George Carlin final chapter level.. It's hard to be funny these days because every p*ssy in the world would find something offensive.
