I've said this before: the wrong (or right) white woman needs to be slighted by the trans movement for something to happen.That’s one person. I mean the collective voice on the other side needs to be just as loud. Right now, as a society on many issues, we’re being held hostage by a vocal minority. There'll be some little waves made after the special like Michael Gandolfini in drag trying to take her "black" show off Netflix or whatever, but its gonna be business as usual in a week or two because white folks ultimately don't take Chappelle seriously (and if I'm not mistaken, that's why he left Comedy Central in the first place...)

How about a billionaire, beloved author that made Hollywood a ton of money? The Harry Potter author tried it and got shouted down. I don't know what it would take to shift the conversation but the idea of them talking about punching down on the group like they have no voice or power doesn't make sense right now.

I didn't find it funny at all. Not one bit. I also don't give a fukk, because the people complaining about his trans jokes did not give a single fukk when he was joking about blacks. I feel like people have forgotten completely lost their minds in regards to comedy and comedians. No matter what joke you make, you’re going to offend some segment of the population. Dave has joked about blacks, whites, Asians, gays, heterosexuals, transsexuals, fat people etc. comedy is about being able to joke about anything, because it’s all just a joke, it’s not serious. This all started when Tosh made a rape joke and the entire world freaked out. Can you imagine Andrew Dice Clay doing his act today as a new comedian? Or Eddie Murphy? Richard Pryor? Bill Hicks? The whole world lost it’s mind regarding comedy. Bill Burr was talking about doing shows at Dave’s compound where they take everyone’s cell phone and he finally felt free to say whatever the fukk he wanted and he just said wild shyt.
