I don't remember anything about "the executioner" that gimmick must've been short lived as hell, sheesh.

Gordy probably suffered a stroke or something while he was out (of course I'm no medical doctor). I'm sure oxygen to his brain also had something to do with it. Like Cornette said, something was erased in his brain. He should have been getting help and not taking bumps. Wrestling business is disgusting. Story was sad overall.

I remember seeing him wrestle Bam Bam Bigelow on an old ECW VHS tape I had, "the battle of the Bam Bams."

Everytime I see shyt from late '90s WCW, I just think of how so much would've been possible if they knew what the fukk they were doing.

A decent booker could've turned "The Disciple" into something.

I remember at the time not even recognizing Brutus.

I thought it was Ultimate Warrior incognito.

NGL I was a mark for Warrior/Disciple in the oWn :snoop: Rock N Wrestling era was before my time.

Speaking of, during Bam Bam’s episode I learned he wasn’t a New Generation guy :ohhh: had no idea he had a short run in the 80s matching up with the likes of Hoegan and Andre.

that dude only got over with 1 gimmick in his whole career: brutus the barber beefcake...wcw straight gave him some bullshyt then his little wrestling ability he had deteriorated on top of that...him being the disciple was just another weird wcw gimmick to me that was using a stunner for a finisher lol

Revealing my age but he was in the original Wrestlemania game that dropped on NES. I remembered him having that damn somersault in his moveset.

They didn’t even try with the hoegan “actor” lol.

Haha I was thinking that. Leanest Hogan I’ve ever seen. Even dark silhouette bared no real resemblance

Brutus episode was alright, nothing special. I eat up anything golden era WWF so it had a few good moments in that right.

Beefcake and his wife strike me as pompous people at least during the interviews. Though Brutus did seem genuinely nice interacting with fans at the end

Funny that his wife just slid in his DMs. She was very attractive around the time they got married in certain pics, now she looks like she’s trying to hard to be dolled up

B Brian Blair and Greg the Hammer were passive aggressive lol neither of them seem to fukk with Brutus low key. Again I imagine he’s pompous in the locker room

Props to that surgeon that saved dudes career (and life)

Would not rewatch this ep but good for what it was
