Never knew homeboy wrestled with 1 foot, thats insane. I loved texas tornado to as a kid, never knew he was von Erich. This episode was the most informative for me.

never knew he had 1 foot .. that's wild..

I hated the texas tornado cause he beat my favorite wrestler at the time Mr Perfect. I found out he was a Von Erich around 91.. cause those old AWA used to air on ESPN... but I think a few announcers mentioned him as a VonErich a few times on Superstars

I gotta say that for real that the Mike Von Erich press conference footage that they briefly played is one of the most harrowing thing i've ever seen.

The boy clearly got brain damage and they have the nerve to promote an upcoming event.

Man FUKK FRITZ!

Here is the footage if you want to see it yourself

the von erichs episode was so sad, I mean I heard the story before but its tragic

It seems Kevin is enjoying life so thats nice to see

also just saw this news:

Kevin Von Erich's Sons Ross and Marshall Sign with Major League Wrestling

Kevin Von Erich’s Sons Ross and Marshall Sign with Major League Wrestling

Ross and Marshall Von Erich will continue their family’s in-ring legacy by signing with MLW.

Sports Illustrated first reported the new Major League Wrestling signings and noted the Von Erichs will make their debuts at the June 1 television taping in Milwaukee.

“Signing with MLW is a big deal for us,” Ross told SI. “They are the promotion that has allowed us to be with our dad, help out around the ranch, and still wrestle.”

“We’re able to continue the legacy,” Marshall added. “It’s humbling, we’re honored, and it’s the perfect timing—we’ve never been this ready for this big a stage before.”

The brothers claim they’ve turned down a tryout at the WWE Performance Center in lieu of signing with MLW because they want to be at home more with their father Kevin Von Erich.

MLW CEO Court Bauer the multi-year deal allows Ross and Marshall Von Erich the ability to also work in Israel and for Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan.

I fuk with this show heavy, but got damn they really are biting the hell outta youtube channels to come up with topics

They're cannibalizing a lot of extant material, but as I said earlier in the thread: these docs technically aren't for us, they're for casuals who don't know the stories at all. And they're doing a fantastic job at presenting these stories to that audience in 45 minutes or so.

The Von Erichs episode was easily the best of the ones released so far. I'm happy Kevin seems to be living a peaceful life because holy shyt did he look haunted by the memory of his brothers at times. Brutal, painful stuff; I'm not sure I would have been able to stick the interview out seeing my interviewee like that.

I'm really looking forward to the Gino Hernandez documentary (sidenote: Man, was World Class a fukked up territory or what? Between the Von Erich boys, Hernandez' death, and Chris Adams being shot to death, there are a LOT of bad endings to their stars' stories).
