ETH is absolutely insane stuff and will probably keep going up with all the vaporware ICOs being pumped and the foolish money floating around. Don't get it twisted though, it will end in tears.

How are your DGB investments doing though :mjlol:

I was never sold on it, but did make money off of it with a quick flip.

You are looking at this completely the wrong way. It's incredible, I can't even imagine how much money you have left on the table breh. You seriously dont own any other crypto outside of BTC?

I don't like asking personal questions, but I KNOW cleaned up with the huge spike this week :wow:

I'm the same way. I'll never ask anybody how much they invested or anything along those lines.

Part of the big reason I've tried getting into this is I have my IRA in regular portfolio with fidelity and those are mainly long-term Investments. I've seen growth with them, but I'm at a point where I'd like to see some quicker growth and I'm willing to take the risk with whatever I put into this. I'm not going all-in with the amount that I'm putting in it, as its money I know I could possibly lose in the blink of an eye.

If it keeps going up, I'm probably going to take out my initial investment in it, so I'm essentially playing with house money. I will then take some of that money and look for some other altcoins that are a little risky, but have the potential to Skyrocket.

So, if you believe that it's going to keep going up, then why on Earth wouldn't you invest anything into it? You could dump it before you think it's going to go down.

If I thought any stock was going to go up and was very confident in it, then I would invest in it instead of saying it's a complete waste of money and scam, while stating at the same time that I believe it's going to go up.....

Smart, you got in on a huge spike and now basically got your play money in a short amount of time :salute:

It sucks that I didn't get in on it earlier, but at the same time I'm pretty damn sure I wouldn't have invested money into it when it was a much lower amount. I'm not going to be one of those sensationalist 20/20 hindsight people that say they would have invested tons of money in it when it was 10 or $15 a coin. I felt comfortable when it was around$190 a coin which is when I got approved on coinbase for my debit card. Was pretty disappointed that my bank account didn't get approved for a week or so as I missed out on getting in a lot more around that price point. A decent amount of what I've purchased has been between the $220 and $270 mark. Not terrible, but obviously not as great as if I was able to get in one week earlier.

I'm certainly not complaining though.

Meh in hindsight we are all morons at certain points in our lives right? I had a chance to jump in on bitcoin very early and would have been a multi-millionaire at this point.. In hindsight I should have put more in and not waste time/money on failed projects over the years. I was scared of the volatility. That stuff can eat away at anyone.

The good thing is that this is still relatively new that we still don't know where ultimately it will end up in it's real world usage. A few short years ago many analysts were predicting that ALL alts were basically a non-starter and that only bitcoin will remain. Now from the looks of it ETH will likely pass it in overall market cap and if it happens that is probably the most positive news for anyone following this space because it will sprout even more developments in the next few years. More new money coming in means more opportunities to gain. I am sure there are several back and forths with heisenburr in this very thread, a single dominant crypto would be a bad thing for this space. All this excitement is great.

Taking advantage of the volatility is key here by looking at projects that look to have solid development behind them. The danger is that 90% of the coins are mostly pump and dump scams and I actually think the exchanges are doing the people interested in this space a big disservice by just listing whatever is out there to freely trade.

It truly is the wild west online :wow:
