You have to understand that Heisenburr is a fanboy. He doesn't seem to understand that it is bigger than just the bitcoin crypto, it's about the technology in general and there are several projects that offer distinct advantages for certain individuals. I am actually glad I got into some alts in the past that bombed because it helped me recognize what to look for. Nothing wrong with acquiring bitcoin slowly, but to simply dismiss all the alts is foolish and are leaving a bunch of money on the table as a result.

For the few years that I have been on this my biggest returns have actually been through altcoins and do believe that something like Stratis and Monero have the largest potential to explode after ETH. If you had 10K to dump into either crypto and you picked ETH over BTC in the past few months you are happy as fukk. That shyt might hit $380 this week, that percentage gain :takedat:

People are estimating that ETH is going to overtake BTC in overall market cap in the coming months. It just crossed 31 Billion Today with no signs of slowing. It has gained 20% on the USD, while bitcoin is actually down 1% in the last 24 :damn:

Even ZCash has made bigger gains in the past 24 hours against the dollar :damn:

It's fukking wild out there breh, TAKE ALL THAT YOU CAN GET :damn:

Spreading out the risk is critical. For example this week I have been trading quite a bit and the 20-30% "hit" (manipulation) that Stratis just took was overshadowed by the percentage gains I made across the board.

I just transferred another $10,000 for my fidelity account into my checking account. I plan on getting in Stratis or Monero as some people I've seen that it had a lot of success have been recommending those. I'm not going to throw all of that money into just the two of them, but I'm definitely going to look into it and try and take advantage of some potential explosion.

I know there's potential for some of these coins to go down extremely quickly, but I put in $15,000 into ethereum over the past week and a half. I already have more cash in my account than my total investment, and I still have another 25 coins coming my way next week.

One thing to keep in mind is that Alts with low volumes are subject to A TON of market manipulation from greedy holders who want more. They have just manipulated the shyt out of Stratis just before the next major announcement coming up so they can grab more at a discount :wow:

It's ruthless on these internet highways :wow:

Breh, you talking to someone has never done this.

Are these alt to bitcoin an ETH?
Every crypto outside of Bitcoin is considered an "Alt"

ETH is the biggest ALT out there, but there are also many interesting projects out there. Many people like "Litecoin", but I have just never been sold on the potential of that particular project.

Take a look at this site:
CryptoCurrency Market Capitalizations

Research ALL of the ones you find interesting and start studying. Breh that $1,000 can be worth a TON more later on if you plan things out well. But DO NOT get in if you can't afford losing it. This shyt is EXTREMELY volatile. Stratis just "lost" a ton of value in 24 hours because of manipulation and those shakeouts usually force weak hands to drop and the greedy fukks profit from it :wow:

It's RUTHLESS.

That is why I'm not going to go heavy on all of these alt coins. I'm not trying to get absolutely hammered and lose my investment completely within days. I wish I got validated earlier and was able to put more into ethereum, but at least I got in at what looks like a decent price as of now. I got in from around $180 for some of the coins up to a high of around $270 for some that I purchased.

Give me that thousand-dollar barrier breakthrough by the end of this year.

Also consider looking into Factom. I hold that as well. You just hit a lick with ETH so you should be doing backflips anyway. My strategy is always to take some of the profit and throw it into other projects I think have potential. I am not sure who mentioned digibyte here, but I did jump in and quickly dipped out after that presentation. I am just not sold on that project long term so the small profit was right there for the taking and didn't want to pass it up.

I am about to put some of what I earned in ETH and spreading it out a bit tonight.

Factom and Stratis are both down 20+% today. The time to jump in is when people are scared.

If there is no negativity around the crypto there is no reason to be scared. That is when the sharks jump in and take it all :wow:

theres gotta be a dip coming soon... right? :wow: im trying to buy some more. considering just converting all my BTC to ETH... :jbhmm: but its good to diversify. although im not sure whats gonna happen after the august 1 bitcoin fork, definitely possible that a lot of people switch over to ETH to avoid the uncertainty. what do yall btc purists think about the fork?

i also have a couple gs in waves and wings at the moment, had nice returns so far but id have done better if i just went all in on ETH. btw if yall want tips on which altcoins to buy, check out this fund: EXTREME FUND - BLUE MAGIC

NEVER go all in breh :merchant:

Chill BTC is still the KING, spreading it out is the best way to go. In fact, I still own the majority in BTC...it's the most liquid and easily tradeable with other cryptos and that in itself makes it extremely valuable apart from it's counterparts coming up with better ideas.

How do you put more than $1K in at a time??? Is Coinbase the only one that limits you?
