I think they've potentially got something really good with Kendrick's character. If he could play an old, cynical, bitter drunk with a huge chip on his shoulder and a cheeky attitude but can't really get the job done, something like Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump or what Jericho is right now except without the homosexual tones and comedy, it'd be great TV

That Gallagher/Tozawa match was great but I don't like how Tozawa barely sold that leg until the end. He was running around and still doing kicks painlessly when Gallagher was fukking up his leg the entire match

Yeah. What's weird to me though is that Kendrick returned to the ring in NXT like a year back or so and in his first match looked pretty bad, injured himself and was never seen again. Now he comes back in CWC looking as good as ever (in-ring I mean) and with a very good story angle.

I'm kinda intrigued what they're going to do next week though. ZSJ going over is almost a certainty but Swann meets Dorado and Gargano meets Perkins which could both go either way. They probably shamelessly have Gargano go over because of how they built him in the Ciampa match and he's an NXT main stay but that would be a disservice to Perkins who needs the rub more IMO.

Spanky def doesn't look as good as ever in ring. Physically, he's lost a lot of steps. Especially considering he's only 37. He makes up for it with character work, though. God damn has he had a hard 8 years.

How was Gallagher/Tozawa? Gallagher has a great mid card career ahead of him if he plays his cards right. I'm still amazed that of all the UK guys that get hyped so much (ZSJ, Marty Squirrel, Will Ospreay, Mandrews, Mark Haskins, that fat dude, Grado, etc), I had never even HEARD of Gallagher before the CWC.

Tozawa vs Gallagher was fantastic. Hope they sign both of them. Surprised that Gallagher basically dominated up until the end. He looks like one of those shytty Vaudevillains but wrestles like an entertaining version of Zack Sabre.
