I was so happy Kendrick won. Obviously has losing next round. He's so interesting and different in the ring though. Hopefully he gets signed to go on the main roster.

Yes. All of round 1 was taped in one night in June and all of round 2 was tape on one night of July.

Gallagher is a wrestling god.

A bit disappointed he lost but let's be honest, with showing that tiny bit of intensity and psychology it's clear that the man is main roster ready. Tozawa could use the rub a bit more.

Barely paid attention during the second match, fukk that Ho and fukk Dar.

Kendrick and Nese was really good. Kind of a Gargano/Ciampa vibe what with the kicking out of moves that should've ended the match but I really, really like how Kendrick's experience plays into the psychology, especially the way he heels it up here and there.

kazawa should have face lun and won, and gallagher beat dar, both lun and dar are way behind the other two imo

TBK showing out imo, no flashy moves but dope story and psychology

i do think several guys from this tournament should be signed to NXT to beef up the roster, and also to work on developing their characters to go with the ring skills

By the time Gallagher was a hit with fans after his performances, he had already lost to Tozawa in the tapings in July.

I don't blame HHH on this one, Tozawa is a bigger name and he already went with another dude to fill the WOS cosplay role with the winner of ZBJ vs Gulak. I guess you could make an argument that "they should've seen coming" that Gallagher was gonna be better received that Sabre and Gulak, but he's gonna get a NXT/RAW deal so I'm fine with him taking the L considering the context at how the first two rounds were booked/taped

I feel bad for Dar. He is much better than he's shown but got 2 shyt opponents so everybody who has never seen him before is already dumping on him, because he was unfortunate enough to be out there wrestling half of a gimmick tag team & HoHo Lun.

Dar is finishing up his dates in the UK so he's signed & there were reports Tajiri was sticking around that came out before the tournament started I believe. Kendrick is probably a pretty good bet to stick around too. Dorado supposedly signed & Alexander is pretty much a lock.

I'm just watching the beginning of last week's episode..Damn..Tajiri is FLUID as fukk at 46....lol. Those transitions were seemless.

That Gallagher/Tozawa match was great but I don't like how Tozawa barely sold that leg until the end. He was running around and still doing kicks painlessly when Gallagher was fukking up his leg the entire match

For the Cruiserweight Title they want someone who has a confirmed contract, is well known, and would be ready for the main roster. Kendrick is the best guy for that role.
