LOL even in his prime, Tajiri wasn't all that athletic. Think Paul Pierce

A bunch of CWC gifs. These CWC gifs contain smaller more aerial oriented wrestlers, so if you're not a fan of them, I'm sure youtube has some Kamala vs King Kong Bundy matches that are more people's tastes

Off the top of my head back then you had:

Rey Mysterio
Ultimo Dragon
Dean Malenko
Eddie(??)
Kidman
Blitzkrieg
Super Calo
El Dandy
Lash Laroux
Juventud
Psicosis
Ciclope
Damien 666
Silver King
Mr. JL (??)

And later on:

Elix Skipper
AJ Styles
Kid Romeo
Air Paris

Based on that, some dudes would fit right in, and some dudes wouldn't belong at all

Not in the least, but half the dudes on both shows so far have been basically rookies or guys who otherwise would never even be looked at by WWE except for wanting to make it as international as possible.

Good job doing all that research or remembering, what I am asking is are you entertained like you were back then or is this more TNA jamboree style

In some ways I am more entertained, simply because they're the focal point of the show as opposed to the sideshow before the main events. Will need to see more of the top guys in this tourney before I make a judgement though

This. It's sort of tough to compare without these guys being in storylines, but I've definitely been entertained

Also just watched the Tozawa/Johnson match, and based on the comments, you would've thought Johnson had a totally embarrassing performance and was out of his league, yet he very well kept up with Tozawa and put on a good match. I'd only knock him for his cartoony facial expressions and some of his selling, but not his actual wrestling.

Yeah, don't get the hate for Johnson either, dude did fine against a guy leagues above him.

I expected TJ Perkins/Da Mack to be the match of the night simply because Perkins is that good, but Ali/Dorado might've stolen it. They really need to stop having every Arab guy come out as a heel though, it's obvious they're trying to compensate because they know half the crowd will start booing the guy the second they announce his name and the country he represents, but it really just emphasizes all the pathetic xenophobia.

Tajiri still wrestles smooth as fukk for a 46 year old btw, that's some shyt you just gotta respect.

Only disappointed we didn't get a BRAIN-BUSTAAAAAAAAAAH!!!:damn: from Tozawa but other than that it was a good hour of cw action:blessed:

Yea this is a good look for wwe to capitalize on the Indy style fans. I hope they sign all these dud s for real.
