This has to be the best reincarnation of a comic book character to live action that I have ever seen.

They captured everything about Deadpool perfectly. It's definitely not going to be for everyone and that's the BEST thing about it. You can't make a proper Deadpool film and have it cater to everyone and still do it justice.

I don't know how I feel about the over-the-top swearing. And although it might be acknowledged in the movie since they got his family in there, despite the comedy Deadpool has always been a tragic character. That balance is what makes him work because whenever they go full comedy it just becomes lame and corny. So hopefully that's something they've kept in mind.

Told you they were going that route breh. There may be some pathos in it but they said they wanted to earn that R rating with violence and language so I wouldn't be surprised if the pathos takes a back seat

That's because it a web series that going to air on The CW Seed. I'd argue The CW has promoted this harder than the other Web series they've done in past.

Its weird. I was more hyped from reading the hype about the trailer....than watching the trailer itself. Its a crappy version so maybe when I see the HD version I'll get more excited. I was hoping Deadpool would be hilarious.....in a very serious setting. The trailer gave off straight comedy vibes. Still think it will be great though.

It's a teaser but also a teaser that's going to play for that crowd. And that crowd wants to know the character is portrayed properly first and foremost. There will be time to sell the movie as a whole but right now it's selling the character and the tone of his character
