The UN secretary general called out governments and businesses that are lying in pretending they're working towards targets.

We're going to blow through the targets. Humans are just procrastinators. We can't help it. :mjcry:

Regardless of political will, from an infrastructure standpoint I think it'll be extremely difficult to create enough change in the timeframe needed ie 2025-2030. However, I think the ramp for green energy and CO2 reduction tech is going to be explosive towards the end of the decade. I'm expecting huge developments in the 2030's.

It might be too late to stave off permanent change, but its far better than nothing.

Good thread. It's not all doom and gloom brehs. We're way better off now than we were a decade ago. I think there's still a ton in development, just going to take longer than the 2030 deadline that was set.
