We're gonna have another El Nino this year due to all the warm ocean temps. It might not do much for the drought if it's warm rain however. It's the snow that we rely on to fill our reservoirs. The snowfall during the last El Nino was actually really good though, so there is hope.

look at rentjungle.com and peep the average 1 br prices to any city in the bay area.. even shot 40 min from SF is fukkin expensive :camby:

I decided this past weekend while vacation in San Diego that it time for me to move from Ohio and head down to Southern California. There is nothing good going for me in Ohio and I really need a change in scenery. What are some tips for a newbie heading down there? I already start applying for jobs in the SD area and gotten 2 replies. I want to know what is the best way to find temporary housing until I get settled. I want to be down there before December and I need all of the advice that I can get.

I didn't see any issues while I was down there. I just worrying about trying to land something down there and not be unemployed for a extended period of time. I have over 8 years of banking experience on my background and a degree. Hopefully that can land me something quicker down there.
