fukkin sparred this big ass garbage ass HW. nikka kept holding me. so he threw a punch I ducked and threw a body shot this nikka jumps right into it. freak accident. I knew I shouldn't have sparred because I didn't feel like it. it was a dude from another gym(you know how that is).

shyt snapped and all I did was lay on the canvas because I knew something was wrong. after that it was a trip to Brookdale hospital. loool.

Nothing makes working out more general more satisfying than putting it to work in the squared circle. Everything you do outside of the ring to improve your athleticism gets magnified in a great sparring session.

Dude is hard headed, the talent of an A list fight but the mindset of a D list fighter. He just doesn't want it bad enough.

One of the best sports coaches that I ever had once told me, "Look, ya human cartoon, the people you see in the NFL aren't the best that could have made it. They're the best that decided to stick it out. There are men in prison, in the military, working in manual labor jobs, and thousands of others that could have made it but fell off for one reason or another. The ones that didn't fall off are the ones that get to have the money, the girls, and the glory that comes with the big show."

I was into boxing as a teen but never got too heavy in it because my time was already consumed with football and basketball back in school. I got a cousin who is really into boxing and he used to have me come work out with him from time to time. I've actually hooked back up with my kinfolk and started back on the shadow boxing rounds and I do some work on the bags as well.

Boxing workouts are probably the best workouts you can do honestly so I've began to mix them in again along with the weights and cardio I do now.
