too many characters and too much of a disconnect between the majority of them and what's actually going on in the world. they've been nudging towards a time skip since All Might retired while pushing out weak arcs that essentially do nothing in the overall scheme of things. these kids were playing around throwing tennis balls at each other and babysitting while heroes were doing double agent shyt getting killed and having their powers taken.
the shyt has needed to hit the fan for a long, long time
