A family of 6 got to enjoy Raya The last Dragon for less than that. I can see people not wanting to pay it, that's your prerogative. If they hadn't done a day and date Disney+ release for Black Widow I would be extremely pissed.

ok if you throwing concessions in... Movie tickets + concessions isn't a proper comparison to $38 fee. You are going to be eating and have drinks at home too.
No matter what $30 extra for a service you already have ain't a 'blessing' it works out to be the same thing but with lesser speakers and resolution.
