firstly this is in my top 4 maybe even 3 MCU movie's.

this is the first MCU movie that ive watched that actually looks like its shot well, and by well I mean not bland. a lot of the other mcu granding to me looks bland, every scene of this movie looked amazing, especially the scenes in asia.

the movie had way more comedy than I thought it would have, especially from black panthers sister whom of which is hilarious, the 'WHAT ARE THOSEEEE' joke was perfectly timed. also CLAW is played to perfection very very funny and to me the highlight performance.

also for a Disney/Marvel movie theres a lot of racial overtones. white men are refered to as 'the colonisers' some even refuse to talk to white people. when killmonger is in London at the museum he tells the museum staff that he will steal the vibranium the same way white people have been stealing from Africa for hundreds of years. one of black panthers body guards has to wear a wig, she mentions how wigs look ridiculous and she doesn't like it (I think this is saying how ridiculous European wigs look ontop of afro hair) killmonger also says all life comes from Africa, and black people world wide should stick together and wakanda is watching black people worldwide suffer. a lot of interesting racial undertones.

the action is perfect, infact the entire movie is perfectly paced.

only let down to me is the CGI, and ive noticed as of late marvel seem to be lacking in convincing CGI.

speaking of convincing, the majority of the accents are convincing. forest's accent is a bit meh but all around good.

POST CREDIT SCENE 1

black panther tells the UN that wakanda will now share information with the rest of the world, a white UN member asks black panther "what would a country of farmers have to offer us"

POST CREDIT SCENE 2

it shows a hut, amongst other huts

out of the hut, appears bucky in African clothing, the children call him 'WHITE WOLF' in wakandan

I will say though, there was absolutely no c00nery whatsoever in this movie. All the black characters were able to hold their own without the need of a white savior, and the supoorting white characters were just that, supporting. They weren't super important, and they weren't a huge part of the story overall, but they had their roles to play.

I also really thought that Killmonger was a well-written villain that you can really connect to, in terms of his motivations as to why he does what he does, and I think the audience may even side with his way of thinking... Even if the actions in themselves may not be the correct choice.

The action scenes were incredible, and I don't recall a single moment where I felt the movie lulled. Excellent pacing, right from the beginning, you get a backstory of Wakanda for about two minutes that sums everything up excellently, and then brings you right into the plot.

The soundtrack from what I heard was really dope too, you'll hear two instances of Kendrick in the background at some parts, and there's a scene where you can hear The Weeknd echo throughout the area, but both songs fit the vibe well.

All in all man, I thought it was amazing. If this movie doesn't win anything at the Oscars, I'm gonna be upset. The acting was incredible. Chadwick Boseman did his thing, same with Lupita, Angela, everybody. Everyone involved deserves their credit, cause you can tell, this movie was made to make a statement, and it really delivered.

Is it just me is "hell hath no fury like a crazed African" a :mjpls: coming from an old White woman from Australia?
She also says Killmonger is a good villain because he's got "attitude and dreadlocks" as if those two characteristics themselves convey villainy.:mjpls:
Man if this ole "clutch my purse and lock my doors when a Black person walks past me" old hag dont get the FOH!

Y'all think about this for a minute. This doing so well and looking primed to be megahit.

Black Panther is about to be the focal point and new driving force of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A black superhero.

Brings tears to my eyes.:to:
Thats a funny way to spell spiderman. :leon: the title is his as long as the sony deal is active. If not him then Strange is a shoe in.

Panther having a deity to wakanda restricts him from such duties and i am cool with that.
