He kind of pivoted from that to now saying he could get things done by compromising with deplorables. Even though one of the main criticisms of Obama admin is they didn't get enough done due to all the deplorable obstruction

That being said he was bodying Bernie in the swing states, getting more turn out than Hillary in those places. Not sure what we can make of that yet though

Both Bill Clinton & Barack Obama had a FEW Republicans either in their cabinet or in high level federal positions.

Heck, George W. Bush had Norman Mineta (a DEMOCRAT) as his Transportation Secretary.

Biden is a fukking hack, but unfortunately, he's one of only two options and as Chomsky lays out here four years of Biden is much better than another four of Trump. I won't engage in lecturing anyone who is strongly in opposition otherwise, because its probably a waste of time, but convincing people who are persuadable in swing states to vote for Biden is obviously the correct course of action.
