Team wise you essentially create bubble and the testing has to be on par. You’ve shouted it down other wise but soccer is a contact sport and in Europe so far so good in general. Again it comes down to testing. If they don’t have it during competition then there is nothing to spread. On the field will look different with as minimal people on the sidelines as possible. So bands, cheerleaders and non-essential people are likely gone. I would imagine the sideline area gets expanded to create more space as well.

Fans capacity wise they are all looking at limited capacity with certain section and rows not used to create distance.

Wont say it will wholesale work but those are some of the things in play/being looked at.

Well you are mixing the national response with a reasonable path to create safety within the sport. Whether the USA can achieve the same doesn’t negate that a seemingly successful model exists. I acknowledge that in my post by saying I don’t know if it will wholesale work.

The reason for the sport safety in those countries is due to the national response. One doesn’t happen without the other.

But again it’s doesn’t negate the outcome. If your point is to purely say it can’t happen here that’s fine, point taken. My point overall was to share what I’m hearing and seeing as preparation. If that doesn’t interest you the carry on.

Trump won't step down. Given how he won last time it makes sense that he'd wait it out. Imagine if he had dropped out after the Hollywood p*ssy tape came out. Instead the Russian fukkery went into overtime and Trump kept pressing on. I get why he's going down with the ship...

...but I'm not sure why many republicans are going down with the ship. At this point it's clear he's dragging the entire ballot down. It's unlikely to change anytime soon as the virus gets worse and we run out of "return from furlough" jobs to hype on jobs reports. You could argue that they just assume he can still win, based on my previous point, BUT him winning does them no good if they lose. And it sure as hell looks like a lot of them will lose.
