He should actually lead from a position of strength and tell (not beg or plead, but tell) the Republicans that the American people won't tolerate more years of obstructionism.
All this extending an olive branch and pleading with the Republicans to be nice disgusts me. It won't work and just makes Biden look weak. It's like he forgot how Republicans acted when he was VP.
Biden assumes he won't receive the same backlash as Obama because he's a straight white man.

I'm starting to believe that its not Biden talking and might not have ever been. Even if he really believes all of the kumbaya messaging he's putting out, his advisors have to know the GOP are going to do everything in their power, and some more, to make him as unsuccessful as possible. They're using the Trump fake news tactic to prime the public for the inevitable lack of cooperation (in Trump's case, inevitable negative press) from the GOP.
But we'll see in the first year what kind of bipartisan moves get made along with Congress versus him going heavy on the EOs.
