Waiting until Jan 5th to do something will damage our democracy and put the country at risk. The transition needs to start, asap. If they want to bullshyt and wait until after the GA recount next week fine, whatever. But there's no excuse after that. Yet even now Trump is saying the GA recount won't be legit. It's clear he just wants to delay and delay until someone saves him. End this now.

That is why we have to win the GA runoffs. If not The GOP will block everything to make sure the economy tanks and blame it on the Democrats even though it was theme who started this mess. Biden will try to reach out to them and get obstruction instead. He better use the full strength of executive authority. Anyone who think the GOP will go through with bipartisanship because Trump is gone and Biden is in the White House is naive and delusional.

Can we acknowledge though, that no matter how badly Washington is broken, Biden needs to project the idea of being a unifier. Otherwise he is just the Dem version of Trump.

No matter of deep the divide, it's his duty, as President, to try to bring the country together.

Fox News is just too much of a disinformation machine for that to work.

Biden could have 95%employment and Fox would still run a broken economy narrative.
