Biden closed the gap in NC he’s only down by 76k votes :wow:

Lookin like a clear sweep brehs... Cunningham down by 95k votes plus add to the fact Judge Sullivan made the usps deliver those ballots that they were sitting on before Election Day

if dems somehow get that NC seat, and all they need is to win 1/2 of the runoffs in GA for senate control...:wow:

That is one race nobody has really talked about. We need CC to win. How many ballots left there? @Pressure

Why are Bernie folks chirping? Was it Florida that put the battery in their back?

I'm legit confused b/c it's looking like Biden is going to flip the entire "Blue Wall" while also flipping AZ and GA and will ultimately win by 5M+ votes. How is this bad and in what world would Bernie have done better?

I agree with Kristol, this election required a very unique candidate. Let's thank the black elders in South Carolina for having the vision to see it and saving us from annihilation.

So we gonna run on "We still aren't Trump!" for 2022?

See this is the problem with our people. We simply cannot accept a victory or good news without being manic in our desire to find something negative to dwell on.

This is our fatal flaw bc it follows us wherever we go after the election. It's a weird form of institutional insecurity. If you're trying to get a girl to like you, she never will if you spend all of your time paralyzed by fear, constantly second guessing yourself...worrying about what could go wrong. So then once in power, the politicians are scared shytless bc they're worried that 1.0346% of the electorate might not like the policy you're proposing.

Nowhere in my response was there anything that could even reasonably be interpreted to suggest that I think "We still aren't Trump" should be the strategy going forward. You've just already decided that in your mind and are gearing yourself up to be disappointed.

It's fukking embarrassing to watch unfold in real time.

They voted democrat when the party was more of a working class white party. They are not that anymore. A lot of Dems are urban/younger/educated voters now. Demographics change.

The Dems have become more socially liberal and the GOP has become more fiscally liberal, that's why it has been such a challenge trying to recapture those working class white votes.

Just look at the shift in the Midwest from 2012 to 2016, Trump's national populism caused a big shift. Do any Dem politicians even campaign on protectionism anymore?

Because it's a lost cause.Working class whites are heavily bigoted and just don't want minorities to have more than them.

Sure but they used to vote democrat so some of it has to be put on the democrats for losing them.

I think @dora_da_destroyer brought up catering to the liberal elites the other day

it has to be acknowledged that through decades of public education and affirmative action policies the dem base has gotten a lot smarter

People that identify with Dems are no longer larger the people working in the textile factory they work for tech companies , governments and colleges in big cities all across the country

Yea, I can blame them. I understand that they feel cheated by the DNC but they asses throwing lil hissy fits cause Bernie lost helped a fascist, anti-Black, piece of shyt president almost reclaim the presidency. They don't really care about democracy. And anybody objective HAS to know Bernie woulda got his ass washed against Trump this year AND in 2016. That's why Trump tried his best to get Bernie to be his opponent. Those ultra progressive and socialist agendas scare the shyt outta alot of cacs in this country and Trump woulda played him like a fiddle with the fear mongering. Those dudes just gotta work on getting Dems elected and trying to get their progressive agendas pushed under a Dem administration and Congress then hope they get a progressive candidate that appeals to more Americans than Bernie.
I don't know. If you can't get what you want and are willing to settle for less then the odds of you ever getting what you want become non-existent.

If Bernie supporters continue to settle for other candidates and not one like Bernie or the man himself they will never get a candidate that reflects their beliefs because corporate democrats and all republicans both never want to see a candidate like that nominated and the lessons learned from Trump were very effective.

That's why when Bernie was clearly on his way to the nomination everyone suddenly dropped out of the race and threw their support behind Joe Biden. They didn't want another Trump situation.
