Before 2016, this was true.

You gotta remember, Trump brought a lot of "disenfranchised white folks", you know the rednecks and hillbillies, into the Republican party.

Those ppl weren't voting before 2016.
turnout was high in 2004 and W won

before 2004 it wasnt high in general. we didn't have high turnout when clinton won his races

You mean to tell me playing despacito on a cell phone won’t do the trick?:jbhmm: Cubans will always be a problem but they shouldn’t have gotten washed like that. They did nothing to counter the socialism label and the wild propaganda floating down there in Spanish media. Also I’m sure Kamala video she posted the other day didn’t help
cuban vote been heavily republican since they got here, doesn't matter if you fight the socialist label, there's a left and right idealogy, and they want nothing to do with left leaning parties....even tho our damn left party is well to the right of the rest of the world's leftist parties

Dems tent might be too big. They trying to be centrist while trying to pull in Progressives which in this climate especially is a task. Then you have minority groups which have their own unique challenges and needs. It takes some talented mafukkas to turn that into a cohesive and viable coalition.

Yeah like how do you satisfy everyone? Are we gonna run into this issue every election while the right gets behind whatever a$$hole they run?

The most "elite" candidate in terms of wealth since who? I cant even think of a billionaire that became president

But he appeals to the "common man"

Can't make this up :deadrose:

Yeah it's dumb but they eat that shyt up

The Dems are considered by them to be the party of the elite (Silicon Valley, Hollywood, Wall Street) while they portray themselves as being the workingman's party

Good points, but I also feel like party lines are very crazy now. I think it's more of a have-nots vs the haves / the people vs the establishment era and not just a left vs right era. We've seen people that have voted democrat their entire life voting Trump in 2016 and we've seen people that voted Republican their entire life voting for Biden.

The Republicans and Democrats of the 90's when Clinton won and when Bush won in 2000 and 2004 aren't the same ones of today.

I think a big problem (probably another topic for another day) is that the DNC are still fighting most Republicans as if their constituents are the same Republicans of the 90's and they just aren't.
