My Pops Forever RIP
The lesson here is to not put much faith in Latinos. Their desire to be white is strong.
It also proves they're not a monolith. White Cubans in Florida are their own special bougie class. Up north Hispanics are fundamentally different than those in the South.

The Yay
Cubans are just a special basket case.

I think for other groups tho the history of White racism and supremacy was way more prevalent than it seems. I think the Catholicism kinda made things more uniform and not as harsh looking as it was here where even Catholics were under pressure from Protestants. But even then, Latin America was never that much better than we are. So they coming here having already known at least some form or another of white elitism.
good point. hell, you look at brazil where the dark skinned folks are looked down by the light skinned and people want to be whiter instead of themselves :francis:

Norfeast groovin…
that's not the lesson - the dem party doesn't stand a chance without having a solid 65-70% of the latino vote. i know as black people we want to be dismissive of them, but dems aint winning shyt if they drop out the fold. people been saying it, but the dems need to figure this coalition shyt out otherwise the aryan brotherhood of the GOP is gonna wash them all while being a less popular ideology

Dems tent might be too big. They trying to be centrist while trying to pull in Progressives which in this climate especially is a task. Then you have minority groups which have their own unique challenges and needs. It takes some talented mafukkas to turn that into a cohesive and viable coalition.

Joe needs one out of MI/PA/GA to take it.

So...what are the networks saying?

Does Biden have a real opportunity to come back in WI MI and PA?

Are his areas already counted or can he actually win?

Joe needs to steal GA up under Trump and that can only happen if the number of mail ballots are overwhelming in his favor in ATL.

Michigan might go red unless Oakland, Washtenaw, & Wayne County have a outright blitz of uncounted votes. Detroit alone ain't gone able to turn MI blue again.

The only way Joe can win PA is if Philly & Pittsburgh send him way over the top.
