Y’all have a lot of blind hope in young people being so different as if they don’t inherit views from their racist white parents, or in the case of Latinos, assimilate into whiteness - can’t remember what documentary it was, but a Mexican father was talking about how he worries about how his kids (who are fairer than him) will likely assimilate into white culture.

Maybe it’s not blind hope so much as it is expectation that both establishment parties are gonna continue to drag their feet and be trash. Granted, you’re right that’s not enough to forecast anything but at the very least it might help things. Lol, maybe that’s the part where the blind hope comes in? :pachaha:

Probably the same old white men they backed last time!
This time its different because she would be the Vice President and therefore the heir to the throne and star of the Democratic party.

I don't know who would have the balls to challenge her. Big Gretch would be smart to let Kamala sink, then run and hopefully win in 2028. Cory Booker stands no chance. Warren probably isn't running again and if she did, she isn't winning in the South. Don't see Cuomo running and besides he's pretty damn hated. Don't see anyone with enough star power to truly take her down.

Biden wants to be a transitional President to the next generation, but that means nothing when a Republican nominee is likely to win 2024. I think Obama and the DNC overrated Kamala's potential.

People can give up on a progressive leftist president. We need to get those people in the house, senate and in state level positions

What we have learned in 2016 and 2020 is that Dems need a candidate that some white rural voters Will be comfortable with voting for.

Who will black women in the South choose over Kamala in the 2024 Democratic primary? I don't see anyone beating her.
They didn’t choose her this time, she polled so badly with blacks that she dropped early as even the black vote down south wouldn’t make her competitive.

You’re confusing enthusiasm about seeing a BW on the ticket with organic enthusiasm for Kamala.
