Maybe it’s not blind hope so much as it is expectation that both establishment parties are gonna continue to drag their feet and be trash. Granted, you’re right that’s not enough to forecast anything but at the very least it might help things. Lol, maybe that’s the part where the blind hope comes in?

Biden wants to be a transitional President to the next generation, but that means nothing when a Republican nominee is likely to win 2024. I think Obama and the DNC overrated Kamala's potential.

People can give up on a progressive leftist president. We need to get those people in the house, senate and in state level positions

What we have learned in 2016 and 2020 is that Dems need a candidate that some white rural voters Will be comfortable with voting for.
