well heres the facts

-9.7 million have voted in TX so far
-thats already 700k more total than 2016
-its 57 percent of registered voters

so there must be 3-5 million more who are voting on election day?
:whoa: We didn't all of sudden turn into Vermont cottage-folk.

We have 16.9 M registered voters in Texas.

If we get 11M total I'll be impressed as that would be 65% turnout.

With 12M I'd be ecstatic as that would be 71% turnout and I'd gain a sliver of hope Biden can pull it out.

The extra week of early voting (strategic error by Abbott, Republicans are pissed at him) has gobbled up a lot of the usual Election Day vote. So I think we end up somewhere around 11.7M votes.

I was just about to ask you what you were thinking there.

The wife has some friends in the US. One is an executive in a supermarket chain in California. Seems like supermarkets have been advised that civil unrest is expected next week after the elections.

Stay safe out there brehs and brehettes.
Wait, you don’t live is the US?

Gentle suggestion for the folks here. Even if you're not in a battleground like me you can do targeted phone banking in states that are. It helps to have conversations with those that are lazy and apathetic about voting. And if you're lucky like I've been you'll get 2-3 people to commit to a voting plan each session.

I promise it will help distract you from watching polls and anxiety around all this shyt.
