To some degree there is an element of his supporters also registering. So yes the tweet as read deserves a touch of context.
However most of this early voting specific to first time voters is clearly in reasonably fair to call Democratic lean areas so I think for now they are are more likely to vote that way relative to this number.
I think it is unhealthy how the media portrays black women as arbiters of truth that can do no wrong. Not in an incel/TLR kinda way, but in a "deifying a demographic makes it harder for said demographic to empathize with others or see themselves as anything other than the righteous leader/wronged victim" kinda way. But a growing minority of these popular black men are reinforcing how wide the gap between the black genders can be.
