I think that was the nail in the coffin for a lot of remaining persuadables. Biden got a modest poll bump after that and never looked back. What stood out the most was how vile he was. He was always and a$$hole in debates but it was sometimes entertaining or funny to some degree. That debate just laid bare what a disgusting piece of shyt human being he truly is.

The post debate coverage on cable went till two in the morning. I was up watching and on the coli and twitter in disbelief. Not just how vile and disgusting he was, but that he could actually sabotage his own campaign like that.

Even though I should have known better, I was still like :dwillhuh: the whole time.

Yep, I remember Romney supporters thought that he was going to win by a landslide. It was hilarious watching their reactions as the results came in.

Especially, when the Florida results fully came in and Obama won it again :lolbron:

Yeah the online Trump supporters are similar (worse but similar). Especially as it gets closer to their demise.

Karl Rove meltdown in 08 and Megyn Kelly walking in Fox News vote counters in 12 was priceless.

this will be even better

we’ve never seen such a cult following for a politician

Following Trump is some of these people’s entire identity.

Oh no doubt. Rednecks riding around with Trump stickers on their trucks and shyt. It’s not no Trump 2020 shyt. They say “Trump” like he is some god or something. He represents everything they are.

Further analysis of this Court decision is not comforting as brehs upthread have pointed out and I've also peeped elsewhere.

This is really 5-6 Robed Bigots saying that if states actually go ahead and disenfrachise their entire populations or even go so far as to appoint their own electors not respecting the pop vote SCOTUS will uphold. In PA with a Dem governor this would hopefully never fly - but elsewhere, who knows if R governors and legislators could try. Weeks ago this was a hot topic and was mostly shot down. Now I'm wondering again.

Stakes keep rising and I hope this doesn't kick off CW II. :gucci:

It was the same way in 2012. Complete denial until election night. Pure comedy.
It’s worse this time. They were always a cult, but they were leaderless. Now they have a leader.

It went from we have our own unskewed polls to polls are all fake news by the liberal media. The polls are wrong like they were in 2016. They are the silent majority and Trump is winning in a landslide. They truly believe this.

I’m definitely gonna laugh at the freakout if he loses which seems closer to a certainty by the day, but it should be cause for concern that 25-35% or whatever that number is of the voting electorate isn’t going to accept that result. Combine that with the stooges on the SCOTUS... can we please just fastforward to 11/3? I’m getting sick.

WI was the only state last time who's poll numbers did a complete flip on election day

I still got it for Trump, I don't trust that state even tho the polling says otherwise :francis:

I’m a little more optimistic in that Wisconsin managed to oust Walker and flipped Blue during the midterms.

I think the COVID has ravaged the rural areas bad enough that folks have seen the grift that is Trump.
