Georgia and Texas are well in the reach for Biden. Think about how many people, especially college graduates from Blue states like Cali and New York, have relocated to Austin, Houston, Dallas and Atlanta these past few years. The pandemic has also accelerated this migration; a lot of people would rather move to South where there are more things to do than to stay walled up in NYC or San Francisco.

polls showing biden ahead comfortably could be counter-productive. could lull people into not showing up because they think we got it in the bag already.

in reality there has to be a huge turnout of people who haven't voted yet between now and tuesday. otherwise i expect the gop to steal anything too close to call, via the courts.

i also don't trust any polls showing georgia in play for biden. they clearly don't understand the voter base outside metro atl or all the funky shyt the secretary of state has done to help republicans win. these are the same people who destroyed a server housing questionable election results after a judge told them to preserve all the info. they basically said 'oops my bad' and nothing happened.

i fully expect biden to win the popular vote by a few million, but i have a feeling the electoral vote will be too close to call. can't get my hopes up too high, the ghost of 2016 won't let me.

TX being a toss up..I can't believe it...lol

Texas has been nudging slowly towards being purple. 2030 it will become a pure battleground. Sure Republicans will always have Oklahoma, Wyoming, Dakotas and the Bible Belt... but they have let Texas suddenly become territory for the Dems to take.

I mean New Mexico has been blue for a while, but Arizona looks to be blue and Texas has a chance. If Texas is a battleground, Republicans might never get the Presidential office. A California-New York-Texas instant pickup for Democrats is a killshot before it starts.

It's not a large number in the grand scheme of that poll. Only 8% of independents and Jorgensen is getting 24% of that, which doesn't necessarily sound unreasonable. For easy math, if there were 1 million people in the poll, that 24% of 8% amounts to about 19,000 people.
I doubt that 24% of independents in Wisconsin or any state has even heard of Jo Jorgensen lol. Much less 24% voting for her :pachaha:
