My mom just lambasted my cousins and some of their kids in Columbus, Ohio for them saying they’re thinking of voting Trump. She just told them all that she’s never going to talk to them again if they do that shyt.

Well, 47% of rural voters agree with the premise of transitioning from oil. That's fairly high. The effect of Biden's statement will be virtually non-existent/negligible.

If continuing the oil & gas industry was someone's primary reason for voting, then they were already behind Trump.

if he dies before the election i think the Kentucky GOP can select a new candidate and people who have already voted for him, their votes get transferred to the new republican

if he dies shortly after the election the governor appoints a senator until the next statewide election. kentuckys governor is a democrat and wouldn’t have to appoint a republican

Is this really the issue though? It seems as though you cant accept when people don't want to discuss what you want to discuss. You post lots of information, most of which is well received. You ignore that and only seem to focus on what people arent interested in. From there, you mope, pout, scream and yell until people are sick of you spamming. Then you get passive aggressive.

The Hunter Biden thing isn't a concern to democrats or liberal leaning voters, which is most of this thread. Scheming republicans are a concern in this thread but maybe not in the areas that concern you. Nobody is worried about Biden being impeached. I doubt that Biden can win the white house and lose both the house and senate. So he wont be impeached AND removed either way. Most people arent dedicating as much time to this as you so you have to consider what people are interested in. You cant keep force feeding adults and telling them what is supposed to move them. Post the story, give thoughts and move on if people aren't feeling it.

2020 simply is not 2016 though. You nailed it. Also the 'scandal' isnt sticking. When the thing about Hillary's emails broke it gained traction. She actually did pretty well considering all that was hanging around her neck.
