Breh I can see it in the eyes of them in the streets.

Trump supporters NEED him to win. They know what he stands for. Gives them something to feel good about, despite their miserable lives.

Sorry but after 2016 I’m not believing ANY polls ever again. They polls don’t reflect the desperation that I see in their eyes.

I don’t doubt that but are there enough of them to win? because he hasn’t won many people outside of his cult base over

Remember he didn’t win in 2016 because most of America voted for him he won because of apathy and people even Democrats didn’t want to vote for Hillary

Now more people then ever are voting early and it’s to get him outta here.

Listen I’m still worried a little just because anything’s possible but if you look
at it logically circumstances are extremely different then in 2016.

there is no apathy. Even most people who can take or leave Biden will vote for him just to get Trump out

Republicans might get blown out its hard to get people out to vote and democrats are killing them with mail instead. Republicans basically got to hope people actually are excited and show up on November 3rd
I don’t think we now across the board that’s majority of the early vote is Democratic.

We don't, its a large assumption going by the fact that Trump is against mail in ballots, and historically Republicans vote in person on election day.

Yeah, that’s why I feel Biden kinda fukked up with that answer.

Could have just said “we’re not taking about getting rid of oil jobs. The plan is to migrate from oil jobs to higher-paying, sustainable renewable energy jobs. The oil industry is important and necessary. I will support those jobs...but we must also start the process of migrating to renewable energy sources for the sake of our country and our planet. “

Just some basic shyt like that would have worked instead of “nah, fukk those oil jobs”
Even oil companies are transitioning away from oil :heh:

As a person that already voted for Biden, I can admit that Trump came out on top of the debate to me. It's easy to win a debate when you can resort to dishonesty so easily.
I haven’t voted yet and I watched the debate. The only thing I got from it is pretty much what everyone should realize that a businessman is not different from a politician. They are all bullshytters. Trump may wear a different mask but it’s all the same. It’s all bullshyt and he is worse because his bullshyt is so obvious.

I’m voting Biden because I know he’s the only one that can get this country into a better position.

Trump cannot win.

I expect republicans to come out heavy on Election Day. Their leader told them don’t trust mail in ballots, they live in more rural communities with shyt else to do, they’re not afraid of crowds and the virus...all of this makes for some strong in person voting :ld:

trump didnt win, but he didnt do bad at all. dudes are underestimating how stuff like "we cant shut down forever" and "businesses get crushed on raising min wage" and the oil shyt resonates with people. frankly trump did a hell of lot better last night than i thought he would, he had a couple legitimate moments. a lot of lying a bullshyt, but a couple moments

if he had been acting like that the whole time he would have came off as more presidential in this race. but he didnt :mjlol:

I don’t doubt he did better but what is the yield there?

We can’t shut down forever is a base play

I don’t think businesses getting crushed by a minimum wage hike equates to net gains in his electorate

Oil resonates with a smaller faction of the overall electorate and it was super late in the discussion.

There just were wide scale game changers........

I mean is possible but if you feel that way it doesn’t disallow anyone in here having a substantive discussion on the data as we know it. Yes there are some people that think it’s over but the majority in here don’t. If your stance is that you don’t believe to polls then let everyone else discuss metrics and carry on :yeshrug:
Oh don’t get it twisted, brehs can/should discuss as they choose as long as we keep it civil.

Me included.
