You can’t blame black immigrants because they have no point of reference of Institutionalize racism in this country and more often than not it’s their friends and close family to talk up American being a great place and that’s why they come because of the opportunities which is still way better than if they stayed in their home country so the reward is always higher than the risk
I can when they tell black Americans who have a pooit of reference that allows them to contextualize the methods of what Americans whose entire motive is voter apathy which allows white supremacist to continue it and act upon generations of blatant oppressive acts upon African Americans.

I can tell my allies I need more without jostling my enemies.

The learning curve of Black immigrants regarding institutional racism is varied. Some come here acutely aware because of the colonial experience or they might’ve had their worldview skewed by that same colonialism coupled with extreme poverty.

True, but people are overstating its impact especially in Pennsylvania.

You might see some movement in Texas but oil companies have been doing shytty for a few years now and the energy industry as a whole is already headed in the green direction.
True

But if Dems want to start winning these areas permanently acting like their jobs don’t matter cause....instead of yeah we need to save the planet and make sure you are able to get good paying jobs.

I shytted on Biden as much as everyone else in the primary. Rightfully so.

But I do appreciate he took the time to listen to people like Warren (my no 1), Bernie, AOC, and other people to flesh out a plan that is more appealing to the electorate as a whole.

I dont expect him to fix everything, but I believe moving further away from fascism creates an environment where we can have legitimate discussions about how to better society.

Obama was far from perfect, but his presidency is what made much of what the American left wants palatable - - education, Healthcare, environment.

My entire point is we have to hold politicians accountable both as black people and as progressives.

My hyper criticism of Biden and the Democratic establishment doesn’t mean I support Trump. The Republican Party is antithetical to my my beliefs. I have been obsessed with getting Trump out of office since he was sworn in to office.

I’m also not a “but both sides” contrarian, all I want is to make sure black agenda and progressive ideas are pushed as hard as possible and when the Democratic Party fails to do that, we call their asses out.

Especially when it comes to the black community. I don’t want my Kids’ kids to be rioting over the same bullshyt that we rioted about in the 60s, 90’s and 2020’s. shyt has to change.

I’m done riding with the Democratic Party just off GP.
