does this lead up to November 3rd remind any one of 2008 where polls consistently showed Obama ahead but you didn't really start to believe till the returns started showing up
Yea but I didn’t fear the impact of the outcome nearly as much

I really think that the Absentee Ballot/Early Voting is under-represented in terms of election night. Yes, while some states can start counting them on election day, usually the focus is more on in-polling.

However we are talking a pandemic, so I believe, and maybe this is me, blue states have already prepared for this by allocating more resources to counting them up.

But we will see.
Yes but blue states aren’t the tipping point to 270.

because ohio, pennsylvania, wisconsin and michigan are probably going to take a while to get results from (and trump needs those states) we won’t know if he won on election night, or if biden won with a small margin with those states

but NC, florida, arizona should come in quickly. if biden wins 2/3 of those states its game over
If Trump loses Florida its game over right then. As a republican if you lose Florida you're doing really bad.

No winner will be announced on Election Day unless trump losses big red states. Should take days for a winner to be announced

The only way I see the election been called on the same night is if Trump is on pace to lose states like GA, TX, OH, & FL by big numbers.

If MI, PA and NC get announced for Joe, its a wrap...

No need to wait for TX and FL...

I'm not even counting FL, I look at that dumbass state as a bonus...
