Legit question y all:patrice:, with this early voting and mail in ballot stuff, how come they arent counting the early votes and tabulating the results as this month goes on and then only release them on or the day after election day. Is it some obscure rule in the constution that only votes can be counted on or after election day? I dont think the constitution says anything like that

I was watching something and they said that there is record registered democratic early votes in Florida, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, which is very bad news for Trump in those states.Because if these numbers are true its gonna be an early night for Trump.

Im thinking if u are counting the mail in votes up until say November 2, the day before election day, wouldnt it be a quicker process to know who won by election day when states are only counting the in person votes.

once u get the early votes, just add the inperson votes and then u know who won a state that same day. Am I oversimplifying this?

I dont get this talk about not knowing who the winner is for weeks after election day due to counting votes.

You would think, the shorter the tabulation would shut down Trump's claims of rigging, if we knew the results as soon as possible after election day, the quicker to give that piece of shyt that long awaited final L.

It really all depends on state and maybe even county law,and of course how efficient they are at tabulation

VOPP Table 16: When Absentee/Mail Ballot Processing and Counting Can Begin

There also may be security reasons for not publicizing all the data ahead of election day. Been a lot of talk for years that down in FL one of the fukkeries the Rs do is look at the early count and then send out operatives to game their side. May not work this time.

I’ve never seen a president and his base so obsessed with someone who isn’t president like Trump and his cult are with Obama and Hillary. It’s creepy

I don’t know what it has to do with the election either.

Trumps talked about Hillary and Obama more then Biden.
Basically scare tactics, same bs rethug sentators are trying to do by tying every candidate to Schumer Bernie and pelosi

Biden looking good - but concern over polls mean Democrats are cautious

One of the best "overview" articles I've read in a minute. Explains it from multiple perspectives both on the ground and from experts.

So much of this election is just pure Trump fatigue. People don't want to constantly have to check their shyt to know how the latest fukkup is gonna play out. They want the adults back in charge.
