yup, they see the writing on the wall and and are trying to convince biden and the dems that their victory was possible because of a bi-partisan coalition that he needs to keep on board by having republican friendly policies. they know what they're doing. i think biden has been in the game long enough to know what they're doing as well.

i think they should dump the filibuster to add DC for 2 more dem senators for 2022, but itll be interesting to see if theyre willing to steamroll the repubs on other bills

Yeah not in those wild ass shytshows the Dems were having during the primaries. One on One she should be able to handle Pence.

Pence isn't a speaker, isn't particularly experienced, dude literally was a checkbox for the evangelical vote. Kamala isn't genuinely charismatic, but she's more engaging than Pence and sharp as hell, this won't be a competition at all.
